SUMMARY:Deduktionstreffen 2023
DESCRIPTION:Overview\n\nThe annual meeting Deduktionstreffen is the prime a
ctivity of the Special Interest Group on Deduction Systems (FG DedSys) of t
he AI Section of the German Society for Informatics (GI-FBKI). It is a meet
ing with a familiar, friendly atmosphere, where everyone interested in dedu
ction can report on their work in an informal setting.\n\nA special focus o
f the Deduktionstreffen is on young researchers and students, who are parti
cularly encouraged to present their ongoing research projects to a wider au
dience. Another goal of the meeting is to stimulate networking effects and
to foster collaborative research projects.  \n\nOrganization\n\nDeduktionst
reffen 2023 is associated with the German KI 2023, which brings together ac
ademic and industrial researchers from all areas of AI, providing an ideal
place for exchanging news and research results of intelligent system techno
logy. The Deduktionstreffen will also host the annual general meeting of th
e members of FGDedSys.\n\nWe welcome contributions on all theoretical, expe
rimental and application aspects of deduction. \n\nInvited Talks\n\nChristo
ph Benzmüller Who finds the short proof?\n\nPatrick Koopmann Explaining Rea
soning for Description Logic Ontologies\n\n\n\nSubmission\n\nSubmission is
open to everybody interested in deduction systems.\n\nPlease submit an exte
nded abstract (max. two pages) of your contribution via EasyChair: https://
 easychair.org/conferences/?conf=dt2023\n\nEarly bird submission: July 1, 20
 23 Standard submission: August 1, 2023 August 7, 2023\n\nEarly bird submiss
ion is meant to allow planning reliability to interested students and resea
rchers, e.g. if they would like to apply for travel grants. In particular,
there are KI 2023 student travel grants available (see KI 2023 Travel Grant
 s) and further travel support is funded by the AI chapter of the German Ges
ellschaft für Informatik (for members, see here).\n\n\n\nProgram Overview\n
